Christopher Old , M.D.

Christopher W. Old, M.D. joined Nephrology Associates in 1981. He graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1969 and a Master of Science degree in 1971 (Zoology and Biochemistry). He attended medical school at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and graduated with honors in 1974. He did his medicine internship at the University of Alabama Hospitals and Clinics and then went to Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. completing his Internal Medicine Residency and Renal Fellowship. He was a major in the U.S. Army Medical Corp in El Paso, Texas. He is married to Christine and they have three daughters. Hobbies include sailing, gardening and golf.
