Harold E. Giles, M.D.

Dr. Giles received his undergraduate degree in religion from Birmingham-Southern College.  He received his medical degree from the University Of Alabama School Of Medicine.  He completed his training in internal medicine at the Baptist Health Systems in Birmingham.  He served as a chief medical resident and also served as a faculty member in internal medicine for the Baptist Health Systems.  He completed his fellowship in nephrology at the Washington University School of Medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.  He is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology.  He is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the Jefferson County Medical Society.  He has an interest in polycystic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis and home based dialysis.
