Jason Tsai, M.D.

Dr. Tsai is a native of Taiwan. After receiving his undergraduate degree in University of California, San Diego, he attended University of Alabama School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Birmingham Baptist hospitals, and spent one year as a Chief Resident and Instructor in Medicine.

He then received his fellowship training in Nephrology at University of California, Davis.

Dr. Tsai moved back to Birmingham, AL to join Nephrology Associates, P.C. in 2002. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Nephrology, and Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology. He is a member of American College of Physicians, and is a Fellow of American Society of Nephrology. Dr. Tsai's clinical interests include dialysis access/interventional nephrology, acute kidney injury, and electrolyte disorders.
